The Seaport at Cordage, over 1.5 million square feet of waterfront mill buildings and new construction that overlooks look Cape Cod Bay, will include a vibrant mixed-use waterfront development with offices, residential (both apartment rentals and condominiums), retail, a marina and marine related uses and cultural spaces. The Seaport at Cordage was designated a Growth District Initiative by Governor Deval Patrick. It has received site plan approval on both the state and local levels. The site benefits from the southern most MBTA train on the South Shore offering rail to Boston.
